Project Manager

Ardi is a Project Manager and Coconut Commodity Specialist within Daemeter’s Sustainable Supply Chain team. His work focuses on community-based commodity supply chains, with particular depth in the coconut sector, where he leads feasibility studies, smallholder engagement, and industry development projects, and increasingly supports investment-readiness analysis for commodity-sector finance.

With more than a decade of dedicated coconut sector experience, he brings deep knowledge of the commodity’s market dynamics, production systems, and policy landscape. He manages environmental and social due diligence for agricultural commodities, leads stakeholder engagement across farmer groups, government, and industry, and is an established speaker and facilitator at international coconut conferences. He also provides quality assurance across the firm’s English and Indonesian outputs. His work spans Sulawesi, Riau, Kalimantan, and Java, with international engagement in China, India, and Sri Lanka.

Ardi is driven by the potential of commodity supply chains to strengthen rural economies and farmer livelihoods. Before Daemeter, he worked across an international commodity body, academia, and consulting, and has published several books and articles on the coconut sector.

He holds a Master’s degree from Wageningen University and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Hasanuddin University. He is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and French, with working Dutch.
