Astri is the HR and Compliance Manager at Daemeter, sitting within the Business Operations team. Her day-to-day role covers the full range of human resources and legal compliance functions that keep the firm running, from workforce planning and recruitment through to employment contracts, payroll, and governance alignment.

With over 15 years of HR experience, she brings strong expertise in Indonesian labour law, employment policy development, industrial relations, and tax and benefits compliance. She manages HRIS and documentation systems, supports internal and external audits, coordinates consultant agreements, and serves as the firm’s designated HSE compliance contact. A Licensed Advocate and member of the Indonesian Association of Labour Law Consultants, she combines legal knowledge with practical HR operations.

Astri is motivated by the challenge of building clear, well-functioning people systems in complex organisations. Before Daemeter, she coordinated HR and administration for an international conservation NGO across multiple provinces, and led training and development for a healthcare company, in both cases establishing frameworks from the ground up.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Indonesia and is a Certified Human Resources Professional from Atmajaya University. She is a native Bahasa Indonesia speaker with working English.
