Alya is a Communication Officer at Daemeter, where she manages the firm’s visual identity and digital presence. Day to day, she designs posters and flyers, maintains the Daemeter website, updates the firm’s social media channels, produces the quarterly Siak Pelalawan Landscape Programme newsletter, and creates templates for internal and external use.

She is proficient across the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and has experience producing a wide range of visual content from motion graphics and documentary films to branded materials and publication design. Her background in environmental geography gives her an unusual foundation for understanding the subject matter behind the firm’s sustainability work and translating it into engaging visual communications.

Before joining Daemeter, Alya worked at a creative production company as an art director and motion graphic designer, contributing to documentary films, short films, and commercial content. She also worked as a freelance video editor and graphic designer, producing materials for a government ministry among other clients.

Alya holds a BSc in Environmental Geography from Universitas Gadjah Mada. She is a native Bahasa Indonesia speaker. A self-confessed matcha enthusiast, Alya unwinds with crafts and puzzles, usually with a podcast or a film playing in the background.
